Spa, hotel & hospitality

Robes and camisoles with logo

Waffle-cotton or satin robes, embroidered with property logo. Consistent dye lot across large runs. Reorder same spec without a new sample round from the second order onward.

Typical order: 200–5,000 pcs · embroidery or woven patch

Which fabric is right for your nightwear brand?

The fabric is the product in sleepwear. Cotton, modal and bamboo-derived viscose each perform differently after washing and feel different against skin. Here is a plain comparison.

Classic structured

Cotton Woven (Poplin)

Crisp, breathable and holds its shape. The traditional pajama fabric. Structured collar and cuffs, smooth drape.

Best for: Pajama sets, nightshirts, button-down sets

Brands choose it: Classic and heritage aesthetics, hotel gifting

Everyday soft

Jersey Cotton

Stretch knit cotton: relaxed fit, machine-washable, no ironing needed. An entry-point fabric. Shrinkage is pre-washed before cutting to keep bulk consistent with your sample.

Best for: Cami-and-shorts sets, long-sleeve PJ sets, sleep shorts

Brands choose it: Everyday loungewear crossovers, value tier

Premium drape

Modal

Silky-smooth beechwood-derived fibre. Naturally drapes, low pilling after repeat washing, colour stays vivid. Softer hand than cotton at a slightly higher FOB cost.

Best for: Nightdresses, cami sets, premium PJ sets

Brands choose it: DTC premium tier, gifting, bridal collections

Eco & cooling

Bamboo-derived Viscose

Naturally moisture-wicking and temperature-regulating. Supports a sustainability story. Requires pre-treatment to control shrinkage. We run wash tests before cutting and include the report in your order.

Best for: Full pajama sets, nightdresses, robes

Brands choose it: Wellness and eco-positioned brands, hot-sleeper collections

What to put on a sleepwear tech pack

Common sleepwear returns come from shrinkage, twisted seams and waistbands that give out. Putting these six on the sheet is the cheapest way to avoid all three. No tech pack yet? A reference garment or photo is enough to start.

1. Fabric and wash shrinkage

Fibre content, weight or a swatch, and the wash shrinkage tolerance you accept, so it can be checked against the sample.

2. Set composition and sizes

Top and bottom graded separately or together, size range, and key measurements for each piece.

3. Waistband and trims

Elastic or drawcord, piping, buttons and lace, with width and position.

4. Print and colour

Placement file or repeat, Pantone or swatch per colour, and any colourfastness requirement you work to.

5. Labels

Woven brand label, care label and fibre-content label for your target market. Tell us the market and we will match the format.

6. Packing and quantity

Set packing, polybag or box, hang tag, styles and colours, units per size.

Making a full intimates range? The same checklist works for bras and panties, and OEM vs ODM explains which development route fits you.

Fabric Quality

Woven and Knit Fabrics Chosen for Hand-feel

Cotton woven checks, modal jersey and satin-weave polyester.

Nightwear Manufacturer Fabric Drape

How we keep sleepwear bulk the same as your sample

A pajama waistband that stretches out after a few washes is a common complaint, and it is not visible at inspection. We treat it as a separate step.

1

Recovery is tested before we cut

Elastic recovery is wash-tested on the production fabric. The report goes to you before cutting starts. AQL inspection at the end checks visible defects.

2

Elastic from one designated supplier

The spec sheet ships with your goods, so your next reorder can be matched exactly.

3

Same batch as your sample

The elastic in your sample and in your bulk order comes from the same batch and dye lot.

Payment follows inspection: 30% deposit to start production, 70% balance after you approve inspection. How we run QC →

Custom print and embellishment options

Print is where most sleepwear brands build their visual identity. We handle four methods. Send a reference image or file and we will confirm the best route for your design.

Digital

All-Over Digital Print (AOP)

Full-surface print from a digital file. Unlimited colours, no repeat restrictions, Pantone-matched on request. The standard method for patterned pajama sets and seasonal collections. No separate screen cost, so it works at 50 pcs.

File: Vector (AI/EPS) or 150+ dpi TIFF/PNG

MOQ: 50 pcs (standard)

Saturated colour

Screen Print

Up to 6 spot colours per pass. Ink sits slightly on top of the fabric for a more saturated, opaque result than digital. Best for bold, graphic designs on solid-ground fabrics or large repeat patterns at higher volumes.

Best for: Chest graphics, brand wordmarks on solid fabrics

Note: Screen cost applies; more cost-effective above 100 pcs

Logo & detail

Placement Print

Single or multi-position print on the finished garment. Chest, sleeve, hem, waistband. Used for brand logos, small artwork and gifting personalisation on otherwise plain or woven-stripe styles.

Best for: Logo PJs, gifting sets, monogram placement

Combines with: AOP base + placement logo

Textured finish

Embroidery & Monogram

Woven thread detail on collar, chest, cuff or pocket. Monogram personalisation available: popular on robes for hotel gifting and bridal sets. Minimum placement area applies; send artwork and we will quote stitch count.

Best for: Premium robes, bridal PJ sets, hotel gifting

File: Vector artwork; we convert to embroidery file

Frequently Asked Questions

What is your MOQ for pajamas and nightwear?

50 pieces per style per colour, with sizes mixed freely across the run.

Which Chinese nightwear manufacturer has a low MOQ?

Ours is 50 pieces per style per colour. When you compare quotes, confirm whether a MOQ is per style, per colour or per order.

How much does it cost to manufacture nightwear?

Unit price depends on fabric, construction, print and trims, so we quote from your tech pack or reference: fabric options, a unit price and a delivery window within 24 hours.

How long do samples and bulk production take?

ODM samples take 7 to 10 days and new OEM patterns 10 to 14 days. Bulk production takes 30 to 45 days from sample sign-off.

How do I know bulk will match my approved sample?

Elastic recovery is wash-tested on the production fabric and you receive the report before cutting. Elastic comes from a designated supplier, the spec sheet ships with your goods, and sample and bulk use elastic from the same batch and dye lot.

How does payment work?

30% deposit to start production. The 70% balance is due after you approve inspection.

Can you make pajama sets with matching robes?

Yes. Sets and separates can be developed together, so print, trim and colour stay matched across pieces.

Do you ship DDP or FOB?

Both. We quote FOB Shanghai or Ningbo, or DDP delivered to your door, whichever suits your import set-up.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes. We sign an NDA before spec review, and your design is not shown to other buyers.

What fabrics are available for nightwear and pajamas?

We work in four main options: woven cotton (poplin) for structured pajama sets; jersey cotton for stretch-knit everyday styles; modal for a silky-smooth premium hand with very low pilling; and bamboo-derived viscose for cooling, moisture-wicking performance. Each fabric is available across all our nightwear categories. Tell us your target market and retail price point and we will recommend the most suitable option.

Can you make all-over print (AOP) pajamas?

Yes. All-over digital print is our standard method for patterned sleepwear. Send a vector file (AI or EPS) or a 150+ dpi TIFF and we print to the full garment surface with unlimited colours. Pantone colour matching is available on request. The MOQ is the same as plain styles: 50 pcs per style per colour. A pre-production print swatch is included with your sample so you can approve colour and saturation before we cut bulk.
