Choosing skin-tone colours for your range

Colour is a common reason adhesive bras are returned. The four ranges below cover the main commercial categories. Standard library colours ship from existing tooling; custom Pantone-matched colours are available with a minimum order and confirmed by physical swatch before production starts.

Light & Fair

Ivory to pale nude. Common in East Asian and Northern European markets. The lightest shades are also used as a near-invisible base under sheer or white garments.

Deep & Mahogany

Deep brown to mahogany. Many brands stock one or two of the lighter ranges and skip this one. Adding a deep shade widens the range for customers who are often left out.

To specify a shade: send a physical swatch, a Pantone TCX/TPX reference, or a product photo. A physical silicone colour chip is made before production starts and shipped to you for approval. Colour is confirmed against the chip.

What to put on a silicone bra brief

Adhesive bras are commonly returned because they do not stay on, leave a visible edge or are not the right colour. These six items address all three. A reference product or photo is enough to start.

1. Style type

Self-adhesive, push-up wing or nipple cover, and whether it opens at the front or sits as a single piece.

2. Cup shape and thickness

Cup size range, volume and thickness, and edge thickness where it meets the skin.

3. Skin-tone colours

The colour range, with a swatch or Pantone reference for each tone.

4. Adhesion and reuse

How many reuses your customers expect and how the product will be cleaned.

5. Market and test reports

Destination market and any standard or test report you must show on import.

6. Packaging

Storage case or cover, polybag or box, labels and carton marks, with units per size.

A standard formulation for everyday silicone bras. Adhesion restores after rinsing with mild soap and air drying. The silicone layer is thick enough to hold through a normal day of wear and light activity, and thin enough to avoid a visible edge under clothing.

Heavy-Duty Reusable

Extended reuse

Thicker silicone layer with a stronger adhesive chemistry. Holds through perspiration and light water exposure better than the standard formula. Designed for customers who wash and store carefully. Carries a higher unit cost and is typically positioned at a premium price point with explicit reuse claims on the packaging.

Physical sample made against the confirmed spec and shipped. Adhesion, edge profile and colour are checked against approved swatches before dispatch. One free revision included.

Sign off the sample and place the bulk PO. 30% deposit starts production. Sample fee is credited 100% against your order.

How many times can a silicone adhesive bra be reused?

Reuse life depends on the adhesive formulation and on how the bra is cleaned and stored. Tell us the reuse count your customers expect and we will propose an adhesive specification to match. Wash-care instructions are included with each unit.

What certifications apply to silicone bras?

Requirements differ by destination market. Put your market and any required standards or test reports on the brief, so they are checked before sampling starts.

What is your MOQ for silicone bras?

50 pieces per style per colour.

How long do samples and bulk production take?

Samples take 10 to 14 days. Bulk production takes 35 to 50 days from sample sign-off.

How does payment work?

30% deposit to start production. The 70% balance is due after you approve inspection.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes. We sign an NDA before spec review, and your design is not shown to other buyers.

Do you ship DDP or FOB?

Both. We quote FOB Shanghai or Ningbo, or DDP delivered to your door, whichever suits your import set-up.

Can I brand the storage case, packaging or the bra itself with my logo?

Yes. The storage case lid and base can be printed with your brand name, logo and care instructions. Polybag, hang tag and retail box can all be customised to your artwork. A debossed or embossed logo on the silicone bra surface itself is also possible. It is added at the mould stage, so it needs to be confirmed before tooling is cut. Send your logo file and packaging brief with your enquiry and we will include all branding options in the quote.

What cup sizes are available, do you cover larger sizes like D or DD?

Our standard silicone bra range covers A through D cup. DD and larger are available as an OEM order with a dedicated mould or fitting adjustment. The cup volume and edge geometry need to be re-specified rather than scaled from a D cup mould. If you are building a range that includes larger cup sizes, include the full size run in your enquiry and we will advise on which sizes run from standard tooling and which require a bespoke mould, along with the cost and lead time difference.

What grade of silicone do you use, and is it skin-safe?

We use food-grade and medical-grade silicone (platinum-cured) depending on the product line. Both grades are free of BPA, phthalates and latex. Our standard silicone bras use food-grade material, which is safe for direct skin contact and supports OEKO-TEX and SGS skin-safety test reports. Medical-grade platinum silicone is available for premium or clinical-positioned SKUs and carries a slightly higher material cost. We can supply the relevant material safety data sheet (MSDS) and test reports at the sampling stage so you can make compliance claims in your target market.

What adhesive types are available, and can I choose the hold strength?

Three adhesive strengths are available: light hold (suitable for everyday or dry-skin use), medium hold (our most popular, balances grip and reusability), and strong hold (water-resistant formula, suited for swimwear or active-use positioning). All three are self-adhesive silicone with no separate glue applied. You can specify the adhesive grade per SKU, and the choice is confirmed at the sampling stage – we send swatches with each grade so you can test before committing to bulk. Strong-hold adhesives typically reduce reuse cycles from 30–40 washes to 20–25.
